As if there is a family theme going on for August, Echosmith is slated for a return visit for their Filipino fans. The Sierota siblings’ solo concert on the 13th promises to be a bigger version of their Bazooka Rocks performance last year, and they are set to prove that they are the coolest kids in this Philippine concert season.

Walk the Moon

Perhaps the most surprising event for Indie Rock August is WALK THE MOON’s dates at five Ayala malls. Given the intensity and infectiousness of “Shut Up an Dance” and “Tightrope,” WALK THE MOON would be reaching out to bigger and wider Filipino audiences as they whip out a dance floor from those venues.

Imagine Dragons

Of all the indierock gigs this August, the Manila leg of the Imagine Dragons’ Smoke + Mirrors Tour is arguably the biggest and most eagerly anticipated, and would be a fittingly explosive coup de grace for an amazing month of concerts. Considering glowing concert reviews during the band’s breakout period, expect the multi-awarded group to be a sight to behold on August 27, and prepare for thunderous renditions of their popular songs.
