Beach Weather Asia Tour 2025 Arrives to the Philippine Shores in August

When you hear the name BEACH WEATHER, you might wonder if it’s a band or a vibe.

To be clear, it’s a band, but the sensations their music evokes are spot-on with their name. Imagine cruising down an endless coastal highway with the windows down, a sense of freedom lingering in the air– that’s the exact feeling their music gives.

The good news is that PULP Live World is bringing BEACH WEATHER to the shores of Manila for their one-night-only show on August 23, 2025, at the Skydome in SM North Edsa. Filipino pop-rock enthusiasts won’t want to miss this exclusive performance of psychedelic surf-rock sound euphoria, which only the band can deliver!

Beach Weather

Hailing from the coastal region of Braintree, Massachusetts, BEACH WEATHER is a pop-rock band formed in 2015 by Reeve Powers, Sean Silverman, and vocalist Nick Santino. Before forming BEACH WEATHER, Santino fronted A Rocket To The Moon, a beloved pop-rock band known for heartfelt anthems like “Like We Used To” and “Baby Blue Eyes.” The band gained a strong following, especially in the Philippines, where they performed at the Bazooka Rocks II Festival in Manila in 2013, further solidifying their fanbase. Now, with BEACH WEATHER, Santino continues to captivate audiences with a fresh, dynamic sound while carrying forward his signature storytelling and melodic style.

BEACH WEATHER, founded on a shared passion for sonic creation, their sound weaves together elements of indie rock, surf rock, and a touch of psychedelia, resulting in a musical tapestry that is both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. Their debut EP released in 2015, “What a Drag”, was a promising start for the band. In the months that followed, they toured as a supporting act with various big players in the music scene, such as The Maine, Sleeping with Sirens, and Against the Current, among others. Thereafter, the band released “Chit Chat” in 2016, unaware at the time that it would achieve remarkable success in the years to come.

After a hiatus of nearly five years, fueled by the same passion for creating music, BEACH WEATHER officially returned in January 2022. Having a stroke of serendipity, their discography saw a surge in popularity in June 2022 when their 2016 hit, “Sex, Drugs, Etc.” went viral on TikTok, catapulting them to mainstream recognition. As of today, the song has amassed over 1.1 billion streams on Spotify and has been certified platinum twice by both Music Canada (MC) and the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). This achievement also earned the band a nomination for “Best New Artist (Alternative & Rock)” at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Riding the waves of their newfound success, BEACH WEATHER finally released “Pineapple Sunrise” in March 2023, their first full-length album. The album, infused with catchy melodies and introspective lyrics, takes listeners on a vibrant journey through love, loss, and self-discovery. The release of the album also marked the start of their headlining tour across North America. They also started appearing in various music festivals such as BottleRock Napa Valley and Hangout Music Festival and continued joining other bands’ tours as a supporting act. With the release of their second studio album, “Melt” in October 2024, BEACH WEATHER has embarked on its second tour– the “Will Make You… Melt” tour.

From a small-town band to a global phenomenon, BEACH WEATHER has carved out an impressive trajectory over the past decade. Coming out of the coast of Braintree to the far corners of the world, Filipino fans are in for a blast as they can finally get to experience the band live at the Skydome in SM North Edsa on August 23, 2025, for the BEACH WEATHER ASIA TOUR 2025 LIVE IN MANILA.
