MERCY. the lyrics hits me so … so …. I really can feel it, just that. HAHAHA that’s it for the love of ONE REPUBLIC! (still a fan, since Highschool)
“If I lose Myself” is my favorite among their songs. The music and lyrics leave me spellbound. I don’t know but when I heard it on a TV series I was mesmerized with chills and it reached right in to my heart and really pulled me. Every time I listen to it, i become full of hopes and dreams.
My favorite OneRepublic song is “Good Life” because it sends out a lot of good vibes and it screams YOLO!
my favorite song from them is something i need because it has a catchy tune and the meaning of its lyrics explains how much i love this band. They are the band that give me “something i need” when it comes music quality of their songs. “In this world full of people, there is one killing me” only explains how this band stand out among all the bands out there that i’ve heard of. And “If we only die once” i wanna see them perform live! So please pick me Philippine Concerts, it’s really my dream to see them live in Manila. Thank you so much for this opportunity!
My favorite song would definitely be Counting Stars. Personally, I relate to the song, feeling like standing at the thin line between staying young and growing old. I’m at that point in my life where everything seems to be in a rush, concerned about getting from here to there. Ultimately, making enough money and becoming a huge success in this world. You get caught up in all of this, and eventually are forced to grow up. But this song reminds me to slow down, and cherish what you have at the moment. The more important things in life are the lessons we take away from it. And that’s where you’ll find an escape from it all-giving your attention to the little details, where something as simple as counting stars could be one of the most beautiful things life has to offer.
Counting Stars
While it is very human to aspire for riches and pleasures in life, all of this superficial needs yield empty rewards. We may falter and we can or make wrong decisions in our quest for happiness but the lessons we learn along the way only strengthens us. Youth is not a gauge nor is old age a deterrent in reaching for the stars- but prayer and handwork are sure formulas for happy and fruitful life. Counting Stars is a song that “inspires to make us perspire for our goal.”
good life because of its feel good vibe :>
All The Right Moves
With the eargasmic voice of Ryan Tedder, the whimsical-blissful tune, and the profound- impassioned lyrics, “Good Life” is my favorite. In being always depressed, the song gave me hope and faith to continue living, to never-ever give up, to just go and enjoy life‘s raging rivers, because in the end, whatever may come, it’s still and will always be good life. 🙂
stop and stare.. i just love it
