I am giving up a major football game just to be able to watch one of my favorite indie rock bands! And for a football addict like me, that’s a freaking big deal. Music wins over football anytime 🙂
I want to see them live
I’m more of a fan of 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s rock and classic music in general, but Bloc Party is one of the few new, “modern” rock bands that I actually appreciate. The first time I heard “Banquet” I immediately became a fan of them. And aside from their music, I admire the band members for the way they speak their minds in their interviews — their passion for music and life, and their stand on social issues which they incorporate in their songs; the music of Bloc Party is delivered through their unique brand of poetry and electronic rock ‘n’ roll.

Because I’ve been dying to see them live! And winning the tickets is really an awesome gift for my birthday. Thank you so much for bringing them here. Fans are so pyshced! And it’ll be rad if I’m at the concert, singing along.
I’ve always been a fanatic of British acts and Bloc Party is no exception. Last year, I was at Snow Patrol and Keane’s concert and this year I’m looking forward to watching Kele Okereke perform live and listen to their hits such as I Still Remember, Like Eating Glass, Banquet and Flux, just to name a few. I’m am really excited and if ever I win the prize I will tag along my college friend who’s also into Indie Rock and a huge fanatic.
I love to explore things and wander around to see different people
and experience different cultures and genre.
