The Sundrop Garden You Need To Visit
In the saturated music industry today, it’s not too often you come across an artist who thoroughly sets herself apart from everyone else, like a rare flower that blooms in a secret garden. From an unutterable name, to an elaborate sound, and to her spirited values, everything ((( O ))) is and stands for is unlike any artist you listen to nowadays.
Neo-soul underground artist, ((( O ))), born and raised in the Philippines, stays true to her roots, both musically and visually. Her debut album, Sundrop ((( 1 ))), released August this year consists of 12-tracks or “moondrops” gathered every full moon, that take you on an ethereal and intricate musical experience of nature. Following this first release of a 12-series of albums or “sundrops” is the official launch celebration for Sundrop ((( 1 ))) called Gathering ((( 1 ))), where fans can fully immerse and experience each moondrop as it was meant to be.
The first part of The Gathering ((( 1 ))) will hold 12 Listening Galleries, each with a native plant and selected aroma to represent the moondrop. This dynamic experience is meant to reconnect with our identity through our roots and its hidden natural treasures. Aside from the Listening Galleries, homegrown sustainable brands and organizations will also be present to showcase their story and locally-sourced products to inspire attendees to share in that vision. The second part of the celebration will be a Musical Gathering where the entire room immerses in a 360-degree projection experience with drum circles, performances from selected underground homegrown artists and a closing show by ((( O ))).
In collaboration with The Collective, HK and The Living Library, PH, along with homegrown sustainable brands, The Gathering ((( 1 ))) is truly a rare and special event you need to catch.
