The School for Good and Evil arrives on Netflix October 19

The School for Good and Evil, Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of Soman Chainani’s fantasy novel is finally coming on October 19th. The streaming studio has decided to adapt the first volume of the successful six-volume tale, which was published between 2013 and 2020.

“Every story has two sides,” the poster anticipated. It will be directed by Paul Feig and will follow the story of Sophie and Agatha, two best friends who find the School of Good and Evil, where everyday boys and girls are trained to become fairy tale heroes and villains.

The school’s top and worst deans, teachers, and principals will be played by Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Michelle Yeoh, and Laurence Fishburne, respectively. Yeoh and Washington portray teachers Anemone and Dovey from School for Good, while Theron portrays Lady Lesso from School for Evil. As the narrator, Cate Blanchett also joined the cast.

The cast of this fantastic new adaption also includes Kit Young, Rachel Bloom, Peter Serafinowicz, Mark Heap, Patti LuPone, Jamie Flatters, Freya Theodora Parks, Demi Isaac Oviawe, Kaitlyn Akinpelumi, and Briony Scarlett.
