The main tailer for Weak Hero Class 2 has been released by Netflix, and it promises an even more thrilling sequel that mix up all the elements we loved in the previous season. Premiering April 25, 2025, this continuation of the successful webtoon adaption delves further into the raw, emotional world of Yeon Si-eun, an apparently weak high school student with an unbroken soul.
The show’s main trailer hints at Si-eun’s struggles at Eunjang High, where rumors of his past follow him, and new conflicts with other gang.
The series follows Yeon Si-eun (Park Ji-hoon), a gifted but physically small student who moves to Eunjang High following a traumatic past at Byuksan High. Haunted by his inability to defend a friend, Si-eun is resolved not to lose anyone else ever. He meets new friends at his new school including Go Hyun-tak (Lee Min-jae), Seo Jun-tae (Choose Min-young), and Park Hu-min (Ryeoun). As Si-eun faces rising violence to guard people he loves, the story promises a brutal yet inspiring tale of growth.
Under the direction of You Su-min and with Han Jun-hee as executive producer, Weak Hero Class 2 expands on the popularity of the first season with emotional depth and gritty action scenes. Following the cliffhanger ending of Weak Hero Class 1, which saw Si-eun seeking retribution for his friend Ahn Su-ho (Choi Hyun-wook), who was left in a coma.
With its raw portrayal of teenage struggles and dynamic fight choreography, Weak Hero Class 2 is poised to be another gripping chapter in Si-eun’s journey.
