Jason Momoa transports us into his fantasy realm in the Slumberland trailer.

IT’S TIME TO DREAM ON!

This holiday season Jason Momoa invites you on an adventure into the world of dreams. “Slumberland”comes to Netflix on November 18.

The new trailer of “Slumberland” has been released on Netflix. We’ll see the land where such a wild and crazy dream has come true.

In Slumberland, Marlow Barkley’s Nemo and Jason Momoa’s Flip go on an extraordinary voyage in a dreamworld. Nemo’s tranquil childhood in the Pacific Northwest is upended when her father, Peter (Kyle Chandler), dies at sea and she moves in with her well-meaning but socially awkward uncle, Phillip (Chris O’Dowd). By day, she struggles with her new school and schedule, but by night, she meets Flip, a rough-around-the-edges bandit who becomes her sidekick and guide thanks to a secret map to Slumberland. Nemo and Flip go on an extraordinary journey through dreams and nightmares, during which Nemo hopes to be reunited with her father.

Slumberland is based on a series of comic strips by Winsor McCay called Little Nemo in Slumberland. These strips were first published at the start of the 20th century. The only big change that the trailer shows so far is that the main character goes from being a little boy to a little girl, which, in a story about childhood dreams and imagination, doesn’t mean much. Along with Barkley and Momoa, the story also stars Kyle Chandler, India de Beaufort, Chris O’Dowd, Humberly González, and Tonya Cornelisse.

Slumberland is directed by Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire & Mockingjay) and produced by Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, David Ready, and Francis Lawrence. It was written by David Guion and Michael Handelman (Night at the Museum; Secret of the Tomb). Weruche Opia, India De Beaufort, and Humberly Gonzalez are also featured in the movie.

Netflix premieres Slumberland on November 18. You can watch the new trailer below:
