The actress from Dr. Romantic 3 made her first trip back to the Philippines in four years at the 2023 LEE SUNG KYOUNG ASIA FAN MEETING IN MANILA [BE CLOSER] IN MANILA. This was the actress’ second solo fan meeting in the Philippines. She expressed her longing for the Philippines and the Filipino supporters at the fan meeting, noting how enjoyable their spirit had always been.

And when Lee Sung Kyoung appeared on stage to serenade them with IU’s “Hold My Hand,” their yearning to see one other again came to an end. She continued by extending her welcome in Filipino and showcased her distinct Kim Bok Joo “swag”.

The fan meetup was packed with opportunities to get to know her better — to grow closer to her step by step. Six steps in, she gave the audience an opportunity to watch three never-before-seen movies of her working out, posing for a summer photo shoot in the dead of winter, and a behind-the-scenes video of her holding an umbrella over crew members to protect them from the sun.

Taking five steps closer to her, she enlightened fans about her many tastes, which included sisig and mango float. She quickly reassured everyone, though, that she would go on a local cuisine tour and taste every type of Filipino food she could.

While deciding among the available foods was simple, Lee Sung Kyoung struggled to decide which of her Dr. Romantic 3 co-stars, including Lim Wonhee, Lee Hongnae, Lee Sinyoung, and Yoon Namu, she would most like to work with again. She ultimately decided to reconnect with everyone.
