South Korean boy group SEVENTEEN brings their Be the Sun: The World Tour to Manila this October, promising fiery stages of their best hits and heated performances from the members.

S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino will meet Filipino Carats on October 8 and 9 at the Mall of Asia Arena and are all set to Face the Sun and set it on fire. Presented by Live Nation Philippines, the upcoming concert will mark the boys’ first visit to the country since the CoViD-19 pandemic started in 2020. The Philippines was the boy group’s last stop for the Ode to You world tour in 2020 before prematurely ending the tour due to the pandemic.

Be the Sun: The World Tour signals the third world tour of SEVENTEEN, following Diamond Edge in 2017 and Ode to You in 2019 to 2020. The tour will kick off at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on June 25 and 26. It will then set off to North America with shows in Vancouver, Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles, Houston, Fort Worth, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Belmont Park, Toronto, and Newark.

Five times the charm: Be the Sun is SEVENTEEN’s fifth PH visit

In the Philippines, the upcoming concert of the boy group will be their fifth visit to the country. The boys first met their Filipino fans in a two-day show in 2016 at The Theatre at Solaire as part of their first Asia Tour, Shining Diamond.

They then returned to the Philippines in a bigger venue — the SM Mall of Asia Arena — for the Diamond Edge world tour in 2017. The following year, SEVENTEEN came back to the SM Mall of Asia Arena for Ideal Cut. In 2020, the boy group took the Philippine concert stage again for Ode to You.
