Voice, Visual, Value in Excelsis, also known as VIXX, showcased their “fantasy-like” performances during the Manila leg of their tour entitled VIXX Live Fantasia Manila Utopia.

The boys opened the night with powerful numbers as they performed “On and On,” “Voodoo Doll,” “Light Up The Darkness,” and “Secret Night.”

Fans then squealed during their talk when the boys tried to introduce themselves in Filipino.

The six-member group consists of N, Leo, Ken, Ravi, Hongbin, and Hyuk. Leader N and maknae (youngest) Hyuk, together with BTOB’s Sungjae and GOT7’s Jackson, are also part of the project group Big Byung. On the other hand, Leo and Ken recently got lead roles in the musical Full House and Chess respectively. Visual Hongbin appeared in the drama Glorious Days, while Ravi was part of the sports variety program Let’s Go! Dream Team Season 2.

The members all showed their individual charms during their solo stage. Ken flaunted his vocal skills with his version of Adele “Rolling in the Deep,” rapper Ravi impressed the crowd with one of their unreleased songs “Ghost,” Hyuk’s performed Jeff Bernat’s “Call Me Mine,” Leo serenaded the audience with “Words to Say,” Hongbin left Starlights in awe after his impressive dance number, and lastly, blindfolded N drew cheers from the fans with his expressive jazz dance.

Changing their wardrobe from black to red suits, the boys then performed “Sad Ending,” “Say U Say Me,” “Rock Your Body,” “Love Letter,” and “Someday.”

Despite their dark concepts, VIXX still displayed their goofy candid sides during their “Exercise Game” where each member danced sexily (and crazily) to lighten the mood.

After their spiels, VIXX resumed their stage with “Hyde,” “Beautiful Killer,” and “Eternity.”

The South Korean group hardly fell short in bringing their Filipino fans to Utopia last May 2 at SM Mall of Asia Arena. Starlights (fanclub name) cheered and chanted in unison and even filled the arena with blood red lightsticks.

Before the night ended, VIXX sang their hit song “Error.” It was pretty entertaining to see the LED with a “bomb” timed for around three minutes as their background. The boys finished the song in time, smoke filled the stage as the “bomb” exploded. Lights went off, as VIXX made their exit.
