To 400 More Years with BOYNEXTDOOR: Manila Welcomed BOYNEXTDOOR with Open Arms during KNOCK ON Vol.1.
Manila Onedoors, are you still alive?! Because what went down at the Araneta Coliseum on March 22, 2025, was far more than just a concert. It was an exhilarating rollercoaster of emotions, a karaoke bash, a quick Tagalog lesson for the boys, and an all-out burst of serotonin combined.
BOYNEXTDOOR transformed the Araneta Coliseum into a grand celebration as they brought their KNOCK ON Vol. 1 tour to Manila, giving Filipino fans an unforgettable night filled with dynamic performances and touching moments.

Even before the show kicked off, the crowd was already in full swing, belting out “Serenade” as if it were their final chance. No music? No issue. We sang regardless. Then, with a sudden knock on the night, the lights dimmed, and BOYNEXTDOOR appeared on stage with “Earth, Wind & Fire” and “Dangerous”, instantly igniting the venue with loud cheers from their supporters.
In the first talk segment, LEEHAN warmly welcomed everyone with, “Masaya kaming makita kayo,” while TAESAN energized the crowd, exclaiming, “Your energy is so amazing!”, as they soaked in the vibrant concert atmosphere that day in Manila.
BOYNEXTDOOR quickly set the evening’s vibe, delivering one electrifying performance after another and turning the stage into their own playground—while the official fandom, known as ONEDOOR, matched their energy. The boys showcased their skills with catchy songs like “But I Like You,” “l i f e i s c o o l,” and “OUR,” before transitioning into their more mellow yet emotionally charged tracks such as “Call Me,” “20,” and “IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU.” They also illustrated the essence of love with “ABCDLOVE” before taking us on a dramatic ride with “Amnesia.”
Following that were “Lucky Charm,” “Fadeaway,” “Crying,” “But Sometimes,” “Gonna Be A Rock,” and “One and Only,” leading to the ultimate twist specifically crafted for Onedoors in Manila during their “SKIT” segment. It felt like we were witnessing a group of theater enthusiasts reveling on stage as they displayed their charisma.

The concert was more than just the music. The band actively engaged the audience by attempting to converse in Filipino. LEEHAN charmed with, “Masaya kami makita kayo,” while WOONHAK elicited laughter with, “Edi wow!” Earlier, during their rendition of “But I Like You,” JAEHYUN declared, “ONEDOOR, mahal kita,” and followed up with a squeaky-voiced version of “ABCDLOVE,” as he and the others humorously utilized their BBNEXDO dolls as props. Not to be outshone, TAESAN joined the fun, stating, “Gusto kita.”
A surprise karaoke challenge had the group inviting fans to join in with “But I Like You,” and they were astounded by the enthusiasm and talent displayed. TAESAN, clearly impressed, remarked, “You guys are incredible,” while JAEHYUN added, “Are you professionals or something? Shouldn’t you be up on stage instead?”
One of the highlight moments of the night occurred during BOYNEXTDOOR’s rendition of “So let’s go see the stars,” a dazzling synth-pop song with romantic themes. The members elongated the track, urging those present to echo the chorus back to them. As they held their mics toward the crowd, fans’ voices resonated throughout the Araneta Coliseum, with the group fully engaged and enjoying the experience. Just when fans thought the show had concluded, the members dashed back on stage for another rendition of “But I Like You.”
Naturally, we weren’t going to let them leave without another performance. BOYNEXTDOOR came back for an encore featuring “Serenade” and “400 Years.” The atmosphere turned emotional when Filipino ONEDOOR surprised them with a heartfelt fan video filled with sincere messages, clips of fan-created art, and footage of themselves dancing to “IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU.”
Then came the standout moment with “So let’s go see the stars.” PH ONEDOOR illuminated the entire coliseum with their phone flashlights, transforming the Araneta Coliseum into a shimmering galaxy. As we sang together, the boys appeared completely taken aback, soaking up the love.
RIWOO energized us one last time with “Gusto kong marinig kayo, everybody scream!” and JAEHYUN left us with unforgettable words: “ONEDOOR, at this moment, you and I are one. It’s time for the final goodbye. I hope you enjoyed our songs. Wherever you are, may our songs be the soundtrack of your life and youth. I’ll do this for 400 years.”
Touched by the tribute, TAESAN commented, “It’s so sweet to think you were individually filming this and compiling it all together. I’m really moved. You all came to experience our concert, and we should be creating lasting memories for you. But thanks to you, ONEDOOR, you’ve gifted us with many beautiful memories to hold onto.”
JAEHYUN shared his pride with the fans and expressed his happiness that his family witnessed their affection in person. “Today, my mom and dad were here,” he mentioned. “The energy from ONEDOOR was so incredible, so I’ll tell my mom, ‘This is my ONEDOOR.’”
“Your support is truly, really warm. Today has been a memorable occasion for me. I genuinely want to express my gratitude. I hope we can meet again,” LEEHAN said. “Magkita tayo ulit. Mahal ko kayong lahat.”

Just when we believed it was all over, BOYNEXTDOOR rushed back for one last rendition of “But I Like You,” showing they were equally reluctant to depart. As their final song drew to a close, “Fadeaway” played in the background, with PH ONEDOOR continuing to sing along until the night ended, filled with joy and memories we’ll cherish for 400 years and more!
Organized by KOZ ENTERTAINMENT, HYBE, YJ Partners, and PULP Live World, the Manila segment of KNOCK ON Vol. 1 highlighted that BOYNEXTDOOR’s music and appeal cross borders. Thanks to the overwhelming enthusiasm and affection from their Filipino fans, this experience was not just a concert—it was a celebration of music, connection, and the promising future awaiting all six members.
The inaugural concert of BOYNEXTDOOR in Manila was an unforgettable evening for both the group and their fans. During KNOCK ON Vol. 1, JAEHYUN, SUNGHO, RIWOO, TAESAN, LEEHAN, and WOONHAK strengthened their connection with their Filipino ONEDOOR. Given the overwhelming love they experienced, it’s clear that this won’t be the last time they take the stage in the Philippines.
