GAT Gains Momentum in the P-Pop Scene and Enters Spotify PH’s Viral Chart
The rising Pinoy pop group GAT has made a name for themselves in the music industry, reaching #8 on Spotify Philippines’ Daily Viral Songs chart with their rendition of “Daleng Dale” by twins MM and MJ Magno, artistically known as MMJ.
GAT is a five-member boy group under the collaboration of Viva Artists Agency (VAA) and Ivory Music. Composed of VAA stars Ethan David, Charles Law, Derrick Ong, Michael Keith, and Hans Paronda, GAT derived its name from the Tagalog honorific “Gat” (nobleman), symbolizing excellence and respect. It also stands for Gawang Atin ‘To, promoting Original Pinoy Music.

As the official opening soundtrack of Viva One’s hit series Ang Mutya ng Section E, GAT’s “Daleng-Dale” is one of their pre-debut tracks, along with “Huwag Ka Nang Humirit,” originally performed by Filipino actor and singer James Reid.

With GAT’s version of “Daleng Dale,” the track was given more angas—an exuding confidence that showcases the group’s fresh and exceptional talent. With a stunning reimagination of the song, Ethan, Charles, Derick, Michael, and Hans are set to leave a stronger mark on the P-pop scene.
GAT’s rendition of “Daleng Dale” is now available on streaming platforms, with its official visualizer recently released on YouTube.
