TikTok sensation and American alt-pop singer BoyWithUke visits Manila this June 2023
BoyWithUke is an indie-pop musician and TikTok star from the USA. First rising to fame in 2021, he began posting videos of him singing and playing the ukulele on TikTok. He gained a huge fanbase, racking up millions of followers. Remaining largely anonymous, he is known for wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a mask that consists of pixelated LED eyes.
BoyWithUke is finally coming to Manila on June 3, 2023 at The Filinvest Tent, Alabang, as announced by global concert promoter Live Nation Philippines.
The 20-year-old faceless artist rose to fame when his songs Toxic and IDGAF went viral on TikTok and were used in countless videos. His “Toxic” version exploded online, vaulting to #1 on Alternative Radio and reaching over 1.5 billion global streams to date. His performance of “Toxic” has emerged as the platform’s highest-viewed Genius video to date, with over 100 million views and counting.
He writes and produces his music from his dorm room on GarageBand app, and challenges himself by making “minute long songs” for fans. His debut album Serotonin Dreams features collaborations with Blackbear, Mxmtoon, Powfu, among others.
In 2022, he embarked on his sold-out international headline tour and released his debut album “Serotonin Dreams,” which features collaborations with blackbear, mxmtoon, Powfu, and more. The project is the follow-up to previous full-length projects “Melatonin Dreams,” “Fever Dreams,” “Trouvaille EP,” and “Faded EP” (featuring numerous songs created from his TikTok “minute-long songs” project). BoyWithUke kicked off 2023 with his latest single, “Rockstar,” taken from his recent release “Antisocial EP.”
